When it comes to taking your driving test, you get to choose the location, and this can be based on the location, the pass rate or even what area you know more. Your nearest test centre is in Salisbury, so it is likely that this will be where you plan to take your test.
If you are taking your test in Salisbury, the best way to get there would be to take the A338 before changing onto the A30. If you are taking your driving test, it is best to have an hours lesson before as this allows you to get some practice in whilst making sure you are at the test centre on time.
