Loved every minute of my lessons, would recommend Drivejohnsons to anyone who needs to learn to drive.
I had the best experience with Dean and if it wasn't for his great teaching i wouldn't have passed my test first time and with only three minors.
I was super nervous when it came to learning to drive but thanks to Dean Fletcher and Drive Johnson I now have a pink licence and can't wait to go on my first road trip.
My instructor Dean has been fantastic and he is always on time and makes our lessons enjoying and most importantly very informative

When you are on the independent driving part of the test, it's common to miss your mirrors and signalling when listening to and following the satnav. Remember, every time you hear a new direction, be prepared to check your mirrors and put a signal on if needed.

Whichever test centre you choose, you instructor will take you for lessons around the test centre to get you used to the roads and learn the test routes.
Our driving instructors in Tipton will always start their driving lessons in a quiet residential area, like Silverthorne Avenue, where you can practise basic controls and manoeuvres away from traffic. Having asked a few questions to find out a bit more about you and your experience, they will do a couple of checks, then start you practising behind the wheel. You will look at the controls, moving off and stopping the car, and turning left and right from a major to minor road. If you are progressing fast, you may also start looking at emerging from T-Junctions.
