It's good to be considerate of other road users, but on your test, you have got to go nice and slow so you have time to do all the observations needed. The faster you do the manoeuvre, the faster your observations should be. You know what to do - keep your speed slow so you have time to observe!

Moving off with the handbrake on is a popular reason for failing your test. Many learners don't release the handbrake fully when moving off and then, 5-10 seconds later, the car starts to make a beeping noise. At this point, you have probably failed your test.

Obviously, if you want to take your test somewhere else that can also be arranged. Wherever you want to take your test, we can make sure that you know your way around that location and what to expect on your route.
First off, your instructor will check both your eyesight and provisional driving licence. You will then have a quick conversation over your experience and, if you have never driven before, you will be taken to a quiet area in Bury, such as Holbeach Close, but depending on your experience that could change.
Once the lesson is over, you will have a quick debrief and go through your strengths and weaknesses. They will also record what you covered and any advice or guidance that has been given to you for next time and for you to take away.
