Passed with Ahmad today at Chingford his a good teacher and I’ve don’t 10 hour crash course where we were going through the test route which made me confident for the test

Ahmad was extremely patient and friendly on all of our lessons. He made sure that I had enough experience with all of the manoeuvres, junctions, roundabouts and dual carriageways that I would encounter in day to day driving and on the test route. I passed my test using all of the knowledge and tips that Ahmad provided on our lessons. Thank you!

i could sit here and write so much about how much of an amazing instructor Ahmad is, from how gentle and patient he is to how he goes above and beyond to ensure his students completely understand the concept of how to be a safe driver. i will always be grateful for everything he has taught me and i will miss our lessons.

When first starting lessons I went with automatic because it seemed easier and I wasn’t confident that I would be able to drive a manual. A few years later and I decided to take it really serious and commit to lessons and that. I called them and the girl on the phone said to give manual a try first as you have more freedom. I took 35 hours and went for my test, passed with 6 minors and couldn’t be happier with the result

I took refresher courses with Ahmad a few years after passing my driving test to restore my confidence on the road.

Ahmad is simply fantastic as an instructor - he's attentive, great to talk to, and has practical and easily memorable tips that I can take away with me as I drive out in the world on my own. He's done wonders to restore my confidence in (and enjoyment of) driving and taught me a lot.

Passed my driving test 1st time after having 30 hours of lessons with Makan. Really happy with how my lessons went and Makan helped me learn really fast and built up my confidence. He showed me all the test routes and did mock driving tests with me which I think really helped me to pass. Would definitely recommend Drive Johnsons and Makan to anyone.

I wasn't sure about using a bigger driving school because of all the things you read online, but after being let down SIX times in a row by someone else, I called driveJohnson's to book my first lesson just so I could get the ball rolling. Ahmad did my lesson and we got on like a house on fire, and now after 15 hours with him I'm looking at booking my test for next month - great instructor!

I passed my test today. I could not have done it without Sadia. She helped me calm my nerves and trust my instincts. Before, I was so nervous and anxious behind the wheel but you helped me become more relaxed and a safer driver. I am so glad I had Ahmad to teach me to learn to drive. He is very friendly and nice, very knowledgable, calm and patient. I am not a naturally good driver, but Ahmad got me from almost always stalling at the traffic lights (when I started) to passing and getting complimented in my driving test and passing with only 1 minor. I enjoyed our chat (we had lots of good chats) and his sense of humour. I would recommend Ahmad to anyone, he is the best instructor, and a lovely person.

My instruction with Ahmad was fantastic. He picked me up for the first lesson & I must have been a nervous wreck - but we drove for about 10 minutes to somewhere quieter, then he showed me the basics of moving the vehicle, and off we went! After 20 hours I had to take a break in my lessons for personal reasons, but when I resumed Ahmad was more than happy to continue with me and see me through my driving test! A very happy Hannah that shows off for taking 32 hours & passing her test 1st time with 1 minor!

I passed my test on my first attempt after training with Ahmad. He is a really excellent instructor who put me completely at ease, helping me grow in confidence and skill at my own pace. He took me through everything that I needed and was very encouraging. He is patient, reliable, punctual, and perceptive about where things need improvement. I also greatly appreciated his flexibility when arranging lessons.

Paul is the most encouraging and positive person I know. In the beginning I was nervous about driving and thought I was slow compared to other people, but Paul encourages me constantly. He is hilarious and honestly makes driving lessons fun.

wicked instructor!! i've been doing lessons ffor ages n ahmad assessed me, did another 6 hours with me n we booked the test. i passed it n that wouldnt of been possible if it werent for ahmad!! sound guy, easy lessons and prices were decent.

Ahmad is a very supportive and friendly instructor. I passed with him today after 8 lessons he identifies your weak spots and gives you tips on how to improve them which he did with me.

Passed my test with Ahmad and I can vouch for his skills a driving instructor. I have been through many instructors and Ahmad was by far the best. Unlike most other instructors he is patient with you and knows how to teach well whilst not lacking in any other area of being an instructor. He is also lovely driving and talking and share many wisdoms with you. I think this comes from the fact that he is also a Imam and used to teach Arabic so he has much more experience than most instructors.

Starting out my driving lessons with Ahmad was such a great experience! He is a natural teacher, down to earth, very communicative and present with you at all times. He made the learning process so easy for me, and I felt totally relaxed driving with him. As I just started out and I'm leaving the country I
now have to keep learning in my home country - but if I had been able to keep driving with Ahmad I am 1000% I would pass my test! Thanks Ahmad for being such a great teacher and for giving me the best start I could have wished for in my driving journey!

Where to start! If you are lucky enough to have Ahmed as your driving instructor, you are in safe hands. I started with him about a year ago having lost my confidence with driving. I didn’t enjoy it and never thought I’d pass. But Ahmed’s calm manner and meticulous standards meant that I grew to love driving, and passed my test first time. It was a pleasure to spend so many hours learning to drive with him, and I’ll miss our weekly car chats!

Ahmad taught my Son Daniel, who had previous experience of an instructor who was not up to standard and quite rude and negative. Ahmad showed professionalism and enthusiasm in teaching my Son. Very personable and knowledgeable. A good communicator.

I recently took refresher lessons with Ahmad, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Even though I already had my license, I wanted to rebuild my confidence, and Ahmad was the perfect instructor for that.

He is incredibly calm and an excellent communicator, making it easy to understand what I needed to focus on without feeling overwhelmed. His approach was patient and supportive, giving me the space to ask questions and work on specific areas. Plus, he’s a great conversationalist, which made each lesson very enjoyable.

I had 10 hours of driving lessons with Ahmed in preparation for moving to the US because I wanted some manual experience. I found him to be calm and considerate allowing me to work at my own pace to become familiar with driving. I’ll keep his number incase I ever come back to the UK and need a manual driving instructor!

So far I've done about 7 hours with Ahmad. The lessons are good and I feel like I've done loads already, and he's said as well that I'll probably only need like 15 or 20 more hours before I'm ready to go for my test. Really glad I got given Ahmad and will make sure I recommend all my friends to go with him as well.

Ahmad was a great instructor and I passed my test first time. He quickly moves you on to the next level and suggests you book your test as soon as you are ready. Friendly and chatty but always 100% focused on what you are doing.
