If the junction is blind, try leaning forward and moving your head as if watching a tennis match. If it's blind, don't be afraid to wind the window down to try and hear anything while you are creeping out to improve your view.

A classic question is: what happens if you go the wrong way on your test? The answer is not a lot. Just try to do it safely, and you will be fine. Many learners will swerve at short notice, realising they are in the wrong lane and fail for the changing lanes part. If the examiner can see you have time to get into the correct lane, they may repeat the instruction or use hand signals. They won't repeat or re-enforce the direction if it isn't safe or there isn't enough time. You will not receive a driving fault for safely going in the wrong direction on your test.

Your driving instructor in Wendover will come to meet you and find out a bit about your driving experience. If you have not had any previous driving lessons, don't worry; many people have not had any previous experience when they come to learn to drive with us. During this initial chat, your driving instructor will also go over the basics of the car, as well as do a quick eyesight check and provisional licence check.
Once this is done, you will then start behind the wheel your in a quiet road in Wendover, like Thornton Crescent. You will practice moving off and stopping, clutch control, the different pedals and how to steer. You may also learn how to turn left and right from a major to minor road, and how to emerge for an open T Junction, depending on how fast you are progressing. At the end of the lesson, your driving instructor will debrief you on what you have learnt so far and what you will be working on next lesson.
