I was looking for an instructor who was patient and calm, I had a previous instructor that wasn't any of these things and it made learning so difficult for me. I was recommended Rob by one of my friends, and I just wish I had found him sooner! He didn't raise his voice and stress me when I made mistakes, he made learning such a breeze and a lot more fun for me!! I passed first time with 5 minors!

I had a really good experience learning to drive with Robert Seyner! Never met someone who is quite so happy as much as Rob is. Makes the lessons a lot less stressful, I passed with only 4 minors. Thanks Rob for getting me through it!
I hated learning to drive. However, when I changed over to drive Johnsons I was given a really good instructor/coach. He used diagrams when I was struggling and calmed me down when I got something wrong and got angry with myself.
I have learnt with 3 other driving instructors before Robert. I found driving hard but Robert made it easier to understand. He was very patient and I liked his teaching style. I was nervous before the test but he made me feel less nervous with some great last minute advice.
I had a fantastic time with Robert, and now I can finally drive my car.

Learning to drive with Robert Seyner was super easy, and I can't recommend him enough.
I had a horrible experience with a previous driving school, but driveJohnson's and Robert Seyner, I grew my confidence and passed the first time.
I was super nervous about taking my lessons, but Rob was great at calming me down and getting test ready.
I passed in early 2016 with Robert's help after a failed test about 8 years beforehand. Initially I was a little nervous having not driven for 8 years but Robert is truly a great teacher and explains things in total sense. I passed with 2 minors and still drive as if he was sitting next to me giving feedback. Top guy.

When approaching traffic-light-controlled crossroads, be wary of cars jumping red lights or going through amber lights. Glance in all directions before emerging through a crossroad. The minimum observations are right, left, ahead, right and then go!
Mark Green - driving instructor in Westbury
It's another classic, but many learners think they should offset their mirrors, so they must move their heads more during the test. You should be able to check your mirrors by moving your eyes - not your head. The examiners are trained to look out for eye checks rather than head movements. Moving your head may cause the examiner to think your mirrors are not set up correctly.

At this moment in time, we are unable to offer automatic driving lessons in Westbury, we are working on this! We do however have fantastic manual driving instructors in Westbury who are keen to help get you on the road! There are many benefits of learning to drive in a manual vehicle, the main one being that when you pass in a manual, you will be able to drive both manual and automatic cars! We always recommend that our pupils start lessons in a manual and they can always switch to automatic at any point during their learning if they wish to do so.
Westbury is one of the best places in the UK for a learner driver to start their lessons. As a residential location, there are an array of one-way streets, suburban cul-de-sac and long stretches of straight roads such as the Bratton Road where you can practice turning left and right. During one of your first lessons, your driving instructor will take you to Fell Road, which leads onto Clevely Way. Here you can dedicate time to practising clutch control. The closer you get to your test date, our dedicated driving instructors will take you to areas such as Danvers Way and Morgan Walk where you can practice a variety of manoeuvres from three-point turns to parallel parking.
Throughout your time learning to drive, your instructor will provide regular feedback and updates on your progress. When you start your lessons, your instructor will also give you a rough idea of how many lessons you're likely to need. When you're reaching test ready standard, your instructor will tell you and help you select a suitable date for your test. Your instructor will only put you forward for your driving test if they think you're ready and if you feel comfortable!
