Moving off with the handbrake on is a popular reason for failing your test. Many learners don't release the handbrake fully when moving off and, then 5-10 seconds later, the car starts to make a beeping noise. At this point, you have probably failed your test.

Taking a mock test leading up to your driving test is a great way to practice the pressure and get a rough idea of how ready you are for your test. If you are getting 102 serious faults two weeks before your test, consider having a few extra hours. If you can't pass the mock test, how will you pass on the day of the actual test?

It can be very hard to book tests with the DVSA backlog so if you're unable to book a test at Bury, you can book your test at one of the other nearby test centres, including the one in Cheetham Hill in Manchester and another in Chadderton, which are both around 15 minutes away by car.
