I never thought I would pass my driving test, especially as I had failed four times with two other driving schools. Then I made the switch to Drive Johnson and Lindsay and it was the best choice that I could make. Thanks to Lindsay I was test ready in just 10 hours of lessons and finally passed.
Lindsay is the best and I will recommend her to everyone in Gillingham who needs to pass.
Lindsay is an outstanding instructor and if it wasn't for her expert teaching and friendly nature I wouldn't have passed my driving test on my first attempt after just 15 hours of lessons.

If you notice the examiner marking something on the marking sheet, don't panic! There are other elements of the test that they need to mark, which doesn't mean you have received a recorded fault. They have to mark down when a manoeuvre, hill start, angled moving off, and more is completed.

Did you know you can touch the gear lever if you are unsure of what gear you are in? Some cars will tell you what gear you are in and others don't. If in doubt, just touch the gear briefly. Based on it's position you should be able to identify what gear you are in without looking down.

We have instructors dedicated to intensive courses and instructors dedicated to weekly lessons, so please advise us of your requirements so we can allocate you the right instructor.
We only use local driving instructors in Wrexham. We promise we won’t sub you out to an external company. All of our instructors are part of the driveJohnson’s family, they are regularly checked and of course they know the area and it’s test routes extremely well.
We have instructors starting from 7am and working as late as 8pm most days of the week. Choose to start your driving lessons from home, office, college/school or work and finish at an alternative location too.
