I decided to become a driving instructor after spending over 30 years running my own businesses and working in various countries. I’ve always enjoyed working with people and helping them achieve something valuable. Having worked in customer-facing roles all my life, I’ve developed strong communication and people skills, which really help me adapt to each learner’s personality and needs. I am currently teaching with a valid PDI licence, and I enjoy creating a relaxed environment where pupils feel supported and motivated. I’m naturally patient and calm and helping people achieve something so important gives me real job satisfaction.

Memorable Moment
Standing at the airport at 18, suitcase in hand, about to board a flight to Jersey for my first summer job away from home. It was a mix of excitement and nerves – a real turning point.
Likes
Exploring new places and experiencing different cultures through travel, especially enjoy coastal destinations.
Dislikes
One thing I really dislike is cruelty to animals. I believe kindness and respect should extend to all living things.
