I worked for over 30 years in the global Transport Industry and was no longer finding my position either rewarding or challenging. Preferring to impart knowledge I decided it was time for a career change ! Years previous to this I had thought about training to be a driving instructor but it was the wrong time and after seeing what the training involved I wasn't sure I could even pass. Decision now made I started to do my homework, I managed to pass part 1 & 2 of the instructors exam but realised for part 3 I would need professional help and that's when I first became associated with Drive Johnsons who matched me with one of their ORDIT trainers and with his help and knowledge I passed my part 3 first time and haven't looked back since.

Memorable Moment

Sorry this is two moments ! Passing my part 3 instructional ability driving test has got to be up there with completing my first marathon.

Likes

I really enjoy my job and helping pupils reach their goal of passing their driving test, knowing they have been taught safe driving skills for life. I also enjoy physical challenges and volunteering in sporting events.
