At driveJohnson’s, we have always prioritised winning the work and providing our instructors with pupils over car hire. However, since COVID-19, dual-control car hire prices have shot up so much that we started to offer short to medium-term hire to help some of our franchised instructors out. If you are with us or looking to join us then we offer car hire, which is perfect for PDIs just starting out or ADIs seeking car hire on a 6-12 month basis. There are instances where we offer longer hire too, depending on your circumstances.
Most companies that provide dual-control car hire and franchise are very expensive. Many experienced instructors call these companies glorified car hire companies. They provide a car but struggle to provide the work and this leaves many instructors with massive overheads of £1000 plus a month!
We aim to keep your costs down by offering used cars rather than brand new. We usually have a range of used cars, varying in age from 2018 upwards. The value of the car, its age/mileage, make, model and your intended mileage will determine the monthly cost of the vehicle to you. All of our cars include maintenance for your peace of mind.
We offer short and long-term car hire from £75 a week and the most common car we have for hire is the Vauxhall Corsa.
