Partial Postcodes
At driveJohnson’s we are always on the instructor’s side, so we understand that you don’t want to be a busy fool driving 60 minutes to a lesson. In some areas you may be very comfortable and happy with the postcodes you cover, so you may want to stop reading now.
However, some of you (especially those living outside of the cities) may live next to a very large postcode that covers such a large radius you only want to cover part of the postcode.
We have worked out a way to cater for your needs better by introducing Partial Postcodes. It’s not perfect, but it’s considerably better than what most of our competitors offer.
What is a partial postcode?
Depending on how much you zoom into the map some may say its in the green and some may say it’s outside of the green. Very occasionally, you’ll receive a pupil on the border. All we ask is if you can’t take the pupil on, please let us know ASAP so we can inform the pupil we have no one to cover their lesson or re-allocate them to an alternative instructor.
The green area is where the instructor is happy to cover and the red area is where the instructor doesn’t want to cover because it’s too far away. The only thing that isn’t quite perfect is occasionally you may be sent a pupil that is very close to the green border.

How to add a partial postcode
Just fill in the form below and we will do the rest. We will work off your home address so highlighting the green areas closest to your home address. We will then send over a proposal of the partial postcode to you to confirm if the partial areas we have created are correct.
If it’s not that simple, then please add a message in the important notes section and we will work with your notes. If it’s complicated, then request a call back and someone from the office will call you for more information.
