If the examiner asks you to drive forwards into a parking bay, try to choose a bay without cars next to it. They will never ask you to park your vehicle in one particular bay. They will usually say something like, "I would like you to drive forwards into any bay to the left or right of you". When performing the manoeuvre, imagine there are cars in both bays next to you, that's how much you can drive over the neighbouring bays (so not that much).

Once you start to become a more skilled road user, your instructor will start to introduce roads such as the B1007, which will challenge you with hazardous situations, such as pedestrians and road works, whilst also building your confidence with traffic lights and crossroads. Gaining experience on the A176 past Little Burstead and onto the daunting multiple roundabout that connects you to the A127, you will have no fears in driving to Basildon with us. Alternatively, you may agree with your instructor on a more scenic route to Brentwood, taking you on Mountnessing Road, confronting narrow roads, blind spots and a busy mini double roundabout at the end of the A1023. Whichever you choose, our instructors will have you ready and excited to conquer your driving test.
