Couldn’t ask for a better driving instructor. He managed to turn learning to drive which I absolutely hated the thought of to something I looked forward to doing. Explains everything in an easy to understand manner and makes you feel safe when in the car. HES THE BEST!!!!

Test Tip Of The Month For Coalville

It’s common when turning left at a blind T-junction to look right and only look left when the car goes into a new road. You will often get away with this, but now and again, something will be there, like a parked car or a pedestrian about to walk out. On your test, you’ll fail, and in real life, you’ll have a severe accident. Be sure to do the minimum observations for T-junctions: right, left, right and then look into the road before you emerge into it!

Useful Driving Test Tip For Coalville

When should you signal for parked cars? If you think another road user may benefit, then apply a signal. For example, driving down a busy street with several parked cars, you probably won’t need to use the signal. If you are driving down a higher-speed road and you see a car broken down, you may wish to signal to warn other road users of the incident and let them know you are changing direction slightly too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Learning to drive locally, you will immediately notice the mix of rural stretches, built-up residential roads, roundabouts, and A-roads. This provides a range of challenges very quickly, but it also provides an excellent training ground for us to teach you.

If you choose to book lessons with our driving school in Coalville, our driving instructor will tailor your driving lessons in Coalville to your exact needs. They will build a lesson plan for you, helping you to strengthen areas where you are already excelling, and improve on others where you need more practice to be test-ready. They will start you off in a quiet area in town, such as Trowell Street, where you can get to grips with the basics, then you will be driving around faster roads in town and into Ravenstone, Whitwick, and the surrounding rural areas. Soon, they will be helping you to conquer the tricky A511 junctions and busy town centre.

There isn't a test centre in town so you will likely be looking at taking your test in Loughborough, Leicester or Derby. Wherever you decide to take your test in the local area, your instructor will plan to show you the local test routes so that you can fully familiarise yourself with them to feel confident and ready on the day.
