I have been taking lessons with Masomeh who I would highly recommend, she is very patient and clear with her instructions. I found the lessons hard at the start but she made me feel at ease and my nerves soon went away.
Loved my lessons with masomeh, I passed my theory before doing lessons and after 5 hours with her, we booked my test in. After another 15 hours I was test ready and now I've passed my test & driving! So pleased!!

I had no clue what so ever how to even start a car so I had no idea what I was doing but from the get go Masomeh was so helpful. My lessons were explained in great detail and I passed with 5 minors. Thank you so much for all of your help.
I purchased 20 hours as a gift for my nephew, I was sent a gift card to provide him with for his birthday (really nice touch). When he was ready and had his provisional, he called Johnsons and arranged his first lesson. He absolutely loved the lesson and speaks very highly of his instructor – Sam. Very easy and rewarding process, he is very eager to continue after lockdown.
I wasn’t sure when I started if I wanted to do manual or do automatic, really glad I picked manual and got given this instructor as he was amazing! Made everything really simple for me.
After having to send licence in due to medical reasons I was able to drive again and she got me passed within two weeks. She was very helpful and kind. so thankyou.

good lessons, helped with my theory as well, car was easy to use and lessons were always planned around times that were good for me so great service all round.
I am an older learner and failed my theory and my driving test so I was about to give up until my friend told me to give drive Johnsons a call. I explained everything over the phone and got put with a brilliant instructor (Masomeh) who managed to fit me in in the evenings. Masomeh helped me pass my theory as I was struggling and pass my test in Huddersfield.
I was really scared to learn driving and it wasnt something that came naturel to me. After a few hours with my instructor my confidents went up by alot and I am nearly ready for my test now.

Watch the road and your driver to see how you would handle certain situations. Seeing how others respond and act will help you with the decision-making in your lessons.

Your driving instructor in Halifax will come to meet you at a time and place of your choosing. They will ask you about your prior driving experience and get to know a bit more about you. If you have not had any prior experience, don't worry as many people come to us with none. They will also carry out an eyesight check and check your provisional driving licence to ensure that you are safe to drive.
If you have had little to no experience, your driving instructor will take you to a quiet road in Halifax, such as Heath Lea, where you can practice behind the wheel away from other distractions. You will go over the basic controls, moving off and stopping, clutch control, the different pedals and how to steer. You may also practice turning left and right from a major to minor road and emerging from an open T Junction, depending on how fast you are progressing.
If you are more experienced, your instructor will likely ask you to take them on a drive in Halifax so that they can assess your skills and what you might need to strengthen in order to be at test standard. They will then be able to give you an idea of how many lessons they think you will need to be test-ready and build a lesson plan tailored to your specific needs.
