Really lovely instructor, puts you at ease by being friendly and someone you can have a laugh with. He is always on time and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Alan as a driving instructor.

I had a wonderful experience learning how to drive with Kajal from driveJohnson's. Kajal was recommended to me by my husband, who was able to pass his first test after choosing her as his driving instructor. When it was my turn for lessons, I found Kajal to be friendly, professional, and an all-around very chill person - which is exactly what a nervous person (like me) needs when learning to navigate the roads. Her car was always immaculately clean, easy to handle, and a pleasure to drive. I also ended up passing my first driving test (with zero faults!), all thanks to Kajal. Needless to say, I will be recommending Kajal to anyone who needs a driving instructor.

Alan was wonderful to have as an instructor. Very patient, calm, friendly and encouraging, making sure I was ready for my test. His teaching was absolutely comprehensive and was always enjoyable. Andy was an excellent instructor. I enjoyed his lesson. He was always their explaining over and over again. He was so patient and understanding. He would quickly recognised when I’m about to start panicking and he would talk me through and calm me down. He helped me gain confidence and be positive about myself but most importantly he thought me to fight my fears.

Started to learn with Andy after years of putting it off. Andy was patient, informative, flexible with booking sessions and most of all came across eager to teach and improve my driving skills. His lessons always seemed worthwhile, hugely enjoyable and enabled me to pass my test 1st time. I thoroughly recommend his service for any considering getting some lessons.

I would like to thank Andy Mitchell for all the support, positivity, patience and calmness that he had with me during my lessons with him. after my previous experience, I never thought I would pass my driving licence, with Andy the experience was amazing, his polite, funny, has good sense of humour, makes you comfortable, respects, and always makes you laugh. my confidence increased in driving and my fear of roundabouts had been greatly improved all thanks to the amazing and wonderful instructor. He never gave up on me and always encouraged me to stay focused and be positive. Alan was a great, friendly instructor who helped me pass first time with 2 minors. He got me test ready in a minimal amount of lessons and I can't recommend him highly enough.

My partner passed first time with Alan, so when I started learning just months later, it felt natural to go with him too. I initially had my test booked for February 1st as Alan advised, but I changed it to mid January as I wanted to pass quicker. Sure enough, Alan was right as I then ended up re-booking for February 1st and I passed!
Thank you Alan; you're so down to earth, it made learning with you a pleasure. You told me all the right things about where I was going wrong. Once I addressed these, my driving improved immensely. Alan was an amazing instructor and helped me pass first time in St Albans with only 1 minor. He is very knowledgeable and has an amazing approach to teaching. He is also someone who is very easy to talk to and is very up to date with test requirements, routes etc. I couldn't recommend him enough.

Alan is an amazing driving instructor and I would definitely recommend him! He is very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Despite having to stop and start lessons throughout the pandemic with different rules he went above and beyond to help me be prepare for my test. Every lesson was fun yet educational and I passed my test at my second attempt.

Andy was an excellent instructor, he pinpointed my weaknesses in driving and helped me improve in those areas. He is a truly fantastic driving instructor as not only does he teach you to pass your test, but also to be a safe and cautious driver. During my learning we covered possible routes and everything I needed to know in order to pass my test. Overall he was a pleasant company to drive with, with a good sense of humour and great patience. Lessons were enjoyable and fun, whilst at the same time being highly productive and efficient.

I had a great experience with learning to drive with Tim. Passing the first time of taking my test with 4 minors, just two months after having had my first ever driving lesson.

Joseph taught me for the first 30-ish hours before I moved house. He was patient, friendly and very knowledgable. When I finally got to book my test, I passed with just 1 driving fault / minor.

I cannot recommend him enough.
