Watch the road and your driver to see how you would handle certain situations. Seeing how others respond and act will help you with the decision-making in your lessons.

Examiners are very partial to drivers following too close. Remember on 30mph roads to keep at least six car lengths back from the car in front (if they are doing 30mph). Anything above 40mph, use the 2-second rule! If it is raining, remember that the stopping distance will double.

Our driving school has been serving happy learners since 2005, covering Oldbury and its surrounding areas like Dudley, Wednesbury, West Bromwich and Smethwick. It's very likely you'll be taking your driving test at the Wednesbury Driving Test Centre, since that's the closest one to Oldbury. We'll start your driving lessons off locally, practising in areas like Brades, Tividale and around Oakham road, the other side of New Birmingham Road. This is only so you can cover the basics and get used to the rules of the road and handling of the car - you'll spend between 2-6 hours in these sort of areas.
Once you're more confident, you'll head over to the Wednesbury area with your instructor to learn how to deal with the roads and junctions that will be covered on your driving test. Your instructor will cover everything in depth with you so you're not surprised by anything on the day of your driving test.
