On your first lesson, one of our driving instructors in Wednesbury will come to meet you and have an initial chat to put you at ease. They will check your provisional licence as well as your eyesight, and ask you about your previous driving experience. If you have not had any previous lessons, your driving instructor will begin your driving lesson on a quiet road in Wednesbury, somewhere like Fusion Way or Comerford Drive, where you can practice away from traffic. You will practice moving off and stopping, clutch control, the different pedals, turning left and right from a major to minor road, and perhaps how to emerge from an open T Junction, if you are progressing quickly.

If you have had driving lessons before, your instructor will likely ask you to take them a drive around Willenhall to show them your skills and so that they can assess where you are at. They will then be able to tailor a lesson plan to the areas you need to strengthen before your test and give you an idea of how many lessons you will need before your test.
