You can fail your test for driving too slow or too fast. Don't make sudden changes if you sense the examiner is looking over at your speedo. Just gently come off the gas or gently apply more depending on if you are going too slow or fast.

If you notice the examiner marking something on the marking sheet, don't panic! There are other elements of the test that they need to mark, which doesn't mean you have received a recorded fault. They have to mark down when a manoeuvre, hill start, angled moving off, and more is completed.

Yes, we have female driving instructors in Stockton-on-Tees who can help you learn to drive. Our instructor Nikki is one of our grade-A driving instructors, and she has helped several learners pass fast and with confidence.
It is difficult to specify an actual timescale because everyone is different. By the time they start driving lessons, some people may already have some experience driving (for example, driving farm equipment, go-karting etc.). On top of this, confidence and skill level will vary from person to person.
What we can tell you is that the national average time it takes for someone to pass is 57 hours. However, at driveJohnson's, our average learner passes in less than half that, at just 26 hours. We even regularly have pupils passing in 10–15 hours from scratch. You can therefore rest assured that with us we will be doing everything we can to help you pass quickly and safely as soon as you are able to.
