When looking for a service to learn to drive. Drive Johsons were quick and easy and the lady on the phone had good humour. I got contacted by my soon to be instructor not long after and had a lesson booked in.My instructor Paul Houghton was very friendly, understanding and just easy to get along with. Through my time learning to drive with Paul I found him to communicate clearly, give clear instructions, clear problem solving and I found he tailored his teaching approach to my needs. As a slightly older pupil with a newborn Paul offered me good flexibility around booking my lessons especially with how long I had for lessons.During my learning, I had some areas I struggled with and Paul really helped me through them, persevering with me, remaining patient and allowing me to make the mistakes until I eventually understood what was happening with the car or situation. Paul also really cares about getting you to pass.With Pauls tuition I passed my test first time with only two minors and I owe that to him.I would recommend Paul to anyone who lives in the Oxford, Bicester and Banbury areas. I genuinely enjoyed learning to drive. A credit to Drive Johnsons.

I had a great experience learning to drive with driveJohnson’s and I passed first time with only 3 minors.My instructor, Andrew, was friendly, patient, and professional. He was accommodating around my work schedule and I appreciated his lesson reminders every Sunday. He also made plans for each lesson, so I could prepare ahead of time with the manual driving guide.I found the app useful for tracking my progress, and the manual driving guide was great to refer back to.Andrew didn’t just teach me how to pass the test, he taught me how to drive confidently and safely in all kinds of real-life scenarios. He believed in me, even when I doubted myself, and helped me to stop overthinking, and instead to “just do it”.I’d highly recommend driveJohnson’s and Andrew to anyone learning to drive manual!

Great service, excellent value for money and fantastic lessons with Koyesur, soooo happy. Staff in the office were also really helpful and were happy to discuss the different lesson options with me to help me make my decision, I decided to go with their 2 hour assessment lesson to start and would definitely recommend doing this.

Top instructors!!! Sadly my 1st instructor become ill during my lessons so he couldn’t carry on but I called the office and got someone new to take over straight away.

From booking my first lesson with the office to passing my test I have found this school to be professional and supportive. They helped me book lessons around my demanding work schedule and Rob always did his best to accommodate me and offered additional support with my theory training and material to help me understand things we covered in the lessons.

I passed my driving test with Md back in August, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor! From start to finish, I had an amazing experience and always felt that he genuinely cared about my progress and confidence on the road.Md takes the time to work through any difficulties you have before moving on, and is always happy to revisit previous lessons whenever needed. Lee is the absolute best instructor ever. He makes sure you actually understand how the car works, which makes why and how we use the different controls make sense. He teaches you how to be a safe and confident driver, not just how to pass the test — but if you follow what he tells you, you'll pass like I did. He is incredibly patient and brilliant at explaining manoeuvres and exactly where to look on the road.For anyone who is new to a car and unsure of themselves, he builds your confidence from day one. He takes everything step by step — setting up the car, moving off, parking, driving on different types of roads, what to look out for — so nothing ever feels overwhelming. Every lesson was genuinely interesting, enjoyable and insightful.What made the real difference for me was that he noticed I learn best with visual cues, and he'd draw quick diagrams that completely cleared up his explanations. He also gives you time to write things down, and actually encourages it from the very first lesson.Each lesson builds on the last, so you can really see yourself progressing. Lee is a brilliant instructor. I couldn't recommend him more highly!

Two brilliant instructors who genuinely care about their pupils.I can't recommend Dom and his daughter Angela highly enough.They're both fantastic driving instructors, but what really makes them special is how much they care about their pupils and their success. It's not just about getting you through your test. They genuinely want you to become a confident, capable and safe driver, and put an enormous amount of themselves into making that happen.Dom was my main instructor. I was an anxious learner, yet I looked forward to every lesson. He's patient, encouraging and supportive, but he's also not afraid to push you when he knows you can do better. He's funny, warm and great company, and you build a real relationship with him along the way.Angela stepped in for my final two lessons when Dom was away, and she was brilliant too. She quickly worked out what I needed, spotted the little things that could make a big difference and helped me feel properly prepared for my test.As well as having quite similar personalities, they have the same car, so if one of them is away, the other can step in without disrupting your learning. It's a really thoughtful approach that reflects how much they care about never letting their pupils down.I had done the work, but what made the difference was they believed in me, which helped me believe in me. I passed first time, which was wonderful.I'll genuinely miss the lessons. Thank you so much, Dom and Angela. You're both absolute stars.Ben

I couldn’t be happier with my experience learning to drive. Every lesson was comfortable and enjoyable, and I never once felt panicked, overwhelmed or unsure of what I was doing. My instructor always made me feel at ease while still pushing me in the right way to build my confidence and improve my skills. I felt supported throughout every lesson, and everything was explained clearly so I knew what I was doing and why. Tiana was an amazing instructor, I couldn’t recommended her more! For someone who was really struggling with nerves Tiana instantly put me at ease. Each lesson was well organised and tailored to where I was in my driving progression and she was always supportive and encouraging when the nerves took over learning something new. Sunil has been amazing, ive been learning to drive on and off for the past 20 years and never even booked to take my theory test. 9 months later I have passed my theory and practical test first time, all thanks to sunil. I honestly cannot recommend Naeem from Drive Johnson's enough! From the very first lesson, he was incredibly patient, calm, supportive and encouraging, and made learning to drive feel so much less daunting.I only had two months of preparation and lessons with Naeem before my test, and managed to pass with 0 faults! That is a huge reflection of not only the quality of his teaching, but also the confidence he helped me build in such a short space of time.Naeem is an extremely knowledgeable, attentive and dedicated instructor. He never made me feel under pressure or embarrassed when I made mistakes. Instead, he always explained things clearly, calmly and positively, making sure I genuinely understood what I was doing rather than simply teaching me how to pass a test.One of the biggest things I took away from my lessons was learning to be a calm, conscious and responsible driver.
