Unbelievable instructor. Taught me all the test routes in Barnet inside/out. On the day of my test there was nothing I hadn't seen before. Always on time, never cancelled. I would recommend to anyone serious about learning to drive. Don't mess this lady about she has a long waiting list - took me 2 weeks to get booked back in with her because I cancelled one lesson. That's how good she is!

It was a difficult journey for me to get the driving license in the UK. However, My instructor Samira makes it easier for me. I get my license in one attempt with 15 lessons and all credit goes to that lady who is not only a instructor but also a lady with lamp for me.

I came to Susanna as I failed my test with two other instructors, I was going to give up but she kept me going and 10 hours later I passed with just 3 minors thanks to her. Great instructor and really lifted my confidence when I thought I couldn't do it anymore.

Samira is so helpful and kind. Due to work reason, I have to pass the test ASAP, she found places for me in her tight schedule and helped me to be a confident driver! She is familiar with every test routes and the tricky points in each routes. She takes me to practice on each of the them so that I will not make mistakes during the test. She kept encouraged me and helped me to calm down on the test day. And everything paid off during the test. I am familiar with the routes, I am confident and I pass for the first time. As you emerge out of the first few T-Junctions, be sure to forward lean if cars are blocking your view and control the car slowly with the clutch and brake. Keep your heading looking both ways regularly, as if you are watching a tennis match.

A nice little tip that should serve you well is that whenever the examiner gives you a direction, you will inevitably have to check your mirrors. If they say, “Next road on the left”, check the interior and left door mirrors. If they say, “At the roundabout, follow the road ahead”, check your interior mirror as you will need to slow down and know what’s behind you.

Our best advice would be to just try and relax. It's completely normal to feel nervous before your first driving lesson. Our instructors will be expecting this and will do their best to put you at ease and make you feel comfortable during your lesson.
You can rest assured that you're in capable hands with our driveJohnson's instructors. They have years of experience and have taught people of many different abilities to learn to drive. During your first lessons you will be taken on some of the quieter roads in Barnet to get you used to driving and familiar with the car.
We want to make learning to drive as easy as possible for you, that's why we do our best to accommodate to your needs and fit into your busy schedules. Our driving instructors are more than happy to pick you up and drop you off at a location of your choice thats local to the area. For example, if you would like to start your driving lesson in Enfield where you work and finish in Barnet where you live, it's no problem.
The driving test pass rate does tend to be lower for most areas inside of London, be it due to the more complicated junctions, busier traffic or just more crazy drivers.
Living in London, there are several test centres that you can take your test at not too far away. Your driving instructor will plan to familiarise you with the test routes at your chosen test centre beforehand, so you may well find you have driving lessons in Borehamwood, Barnet or Enfield if you have booked your test at a test centre there.
When taking driving lessons in Barnet, you will begin by starting in quiet areas like North Finchley Leisure Park, which offer a nice open space for you to practice the basics. As you progress and your confidence grows, you will find yourself on roads near where you begin your lessons with busier roads being taken.
As you continue to progress and develop, you will find yourself leaving Barnet and driving around London and other areas. Some interesting locations to look out for include Hampstead Heath, Royal Air Force Museum London and potentially Wembley Stadium.
