I am speechless at how good Domenico was at teaching. I had lessons with another driving school and they were no where near as structured or as detailed as these, if you want to pass make sure you learn with the best!
I would really appreciate Yaffa because without his patience i wouldn’t have passed my driving test. He’s s really helpful and encouraged me to pass my test with his patience even though i was struggling at Cambridge roundabout, he used to tell me anything is possible so after his support and motivation I passed. I would highly recommend you to learn with him.
I’ve previously had bad experiences with 2 other instructors. Then I joined DriveJohnsons who provided me with Pat Walker who equipped me with a set of new skills and confidence in driving. She got me to pass first time and I wouldn’t have without her.
Pat is the best instructor and made me enjoy the lessons rather than dread them.

When you are on the independent driving part of the test, it's common to miss your mirrors and signalling when listening to and following the satnav. Remember, every time you hear a new direction, be prepared to check your mirrors and put a signal on if needed.

If the examiner asks you to drive forwards into a parking bay, try to choose a bay without cars next to it. They will never ask you to park your vehicle in one particular bay. They will usually say something like, "I would like you to drive forwards into any bay to the left or right of you". When performing the manoeuvre, imagine there are cars in both bays next to you, that's how much you can drive over the neighbouring bays (so not that much).

On your very first driving lesson with us, your driveJohnson's driving instructor will start off with an initial chat to put you at ease and find out a bit about your driving experience. They will also do a quick eyesight check and look at your provisional licence, then they will take you to a quiet residential area where you can start practising behind the wheel, away from busy London traffic.
You will begin by going through the basic car controls, clutch control, the different pedals then you will practice moving off and stopping in the car. If you are learning in a manual car, you will cover moving through the gears. You may start practising turning left from a major to minor road and even emerging from an open T-Junction, depending on how fast you are progressing. Rest assured that your driving instructor will teach you at a pace you feel comfortable with.
