Hello everyone,
Thanks for stopping by my page!
Some of you might remember that I took on the London Marathon back in October 2022, the first one post Covid! Well, guess what? I’ve been lucky enough to get another shot at it this year, and this time, I’m running for the amazing charity Young Lives vs Cancer.
This time around, I have a personal goal to finish in under 4 hours and 45 minutes. Training is ramping up fast and what I used to call “long runs” are now just warm-ups! I’ll be sharing my running journey over the next 14 weeks and if you’d like to support me, I’d be so grateful.
You may remember that Anthony took part in the London Marathon last year, raising an incredible amount for the same charity. Since then, we’ve teamed up with them to offer free driving lessons to an incredible lady who has beaten this awful disease. This is something we hope to do again.

What an unforgettable and inspiring day! Running 26.2 miles is never easy, especially in the heat we faced on Sunday, reaching highs of 22°C. I was incredibly thankful for the many water stations and cooling hoses along the route that helped keep us all going.
A massive congratulations to every single runner who took part, and a special thank you to Anthony – it’s been an absolute privilege to share this journey with you.
I’m still in shock that I raised an incredible £4,422 for my charity, YLvC. I’m so grateful to everyone who sponsored me, especially our amazing instructors, who made up the majority of my sponsors. Your support truly means everything.
And of course, a huge thank you to my family and friends who came out to cheer me on and have been my biggest supporters from the start.
Will I do it again? Absolutely.
Monday 24th March 2025 – Less Than 5 Weeks To Go!
Hi everyone!
I wanted to check in and give you an update on how my marathon training is going. With less than five weeks to go until race day, the miles are adding up and I’ve now hit the 20-mile mark in training! Over the past eight weeks, I’ve been running over a half-marathon distance every week, and in March alone, I will cover a total of 145 miles. My legs have definitely felt the impact but, thankfully, those painful blisters are finally healed!
On Sunday, March 23rd, I took on the Twin Lakes 20-mile run in Milton Keynes – an official race event. What a day! I managed to smash my personal best, shaving an unbelievable 19 minutes off my previous time, finishing with a chip time of 03:39:43! I couldn’t be happier with how it went. I feel like all the training is paying off.
I can’t thank you all enough for the incredible support. Now, it’s full steam ahead to London! The countdown is on.
Wednesday 6th March 2025 – Training Update
Hello everyone.
There are only 8 weeks to go until the big day and the last 4 weeks since I last updated you have been incredibly tough. I have been pushing myself harder than ever. My weekly mileage has increased dramatically, with February alone seeing me run 108 miles compared to just 80 in January. This is a huge leap for me, especially considering that not too long ago I was only running 5k each week.
The physical and mental toll of marathon training has been overwhelming at times. There has been lost time with my family, painful blisters and moments of doubt that have made me question whether I can keep going. It’s not easy, but I am determined to push through.
Thank you to those of you that have already sponsored me.
Saturday 1st February 2025 – Half Marathon
Hello there.
This is the face of someone who has just run a half marathon training run. Conditions were pretty perfect today and it was nice to see some fellow runners and their friendly faces. 🙂
I’m at the halfway point now and will need to start digging deeper to achieve my goal of running the London Marathon in an improved time.
In January I ran over 140km 😲 and have spent around 15 hours on my feet doing training runs. I have already raised an incredible amount of money for Young Lives vs Cancer, and I would just like to add that I am so incredibly grateful for the support so far; however, the charity and I still need your help. 🙏
If you are able to then please do give what you can. If you can’t then a nice encouraging message would be absolutely wonderful 🤍

Sunday 26th January 2025 – 10 Mile Run
Training is now in full swing as I am now in week 13 of my 17 week training plan, and this 10 mile run was a big test. I was feeling really nervous about whether I could complete it without stopping to walk, especially with the harsh wind and relentless rain, particularly around the lake from storm Eowyn. I pushed through and proved to myself that I could do it.
With the runs getting longer, I’ll need to start to focus on nutrition to keep me fuelled for the longer runs ahead.
