When approaching a double mini roundabout, try to glance at the second roundabout in advance. Once you have completed the first one, you may not have much time and space to get in the correct lane for the second mini roundabout. Knowing where to go in advance is good forward planning and makes your life easier on test.

Very good question. Although Hertford is a fantastic area to learn to drive in for beginners, you will come to a point when you want to pass that all important driving test, so it only makes sense to start driving in around your chosen test centre when you are ready. Depending which side of the town you live on you have two choices really.Most pupils preference is to take their driving lessons in Stevenage when approaching their driving test, the other option is Enfield which may have a longer waiting time and the pass rate in Enfield is roughly 10% lower than Stevenage too.
Yes we do. Although there is considerably more male instructors out there than female across the UK, we are very fortunate to have two fantastic female driving instructors in Hertford. Clare and Caroline have been serving the area for over 20 years between them. So you can be sure they know all the beginner roads up to the test routes!
Your driving instructor in Hertford will ask you about your previous experience. If you have not had any previous lessons, that is fine as many people have not had any previous experience. During this chat, your driving instructor will also go over the basics of the car, and they will do an eyesight check and check your provisional licence.
Once this is done, your instructor will begin your driving lesson in a quiet area. They will cover moving off and stopping, clutch control, the different pedals and how to steer. You will always begin in a quiet area away from cars and other road users to learn at your own pace.
