Many drivers question where you can and can’t park; the common question is, can you park on a bend?
The simple answer is no; you can’t park on a bend.
Parking on a bend rules
Rule 243 of the highway code states we must not stop or park on a bend unless forced to do so by stationary traffic.
Stopping or parking on a bend is classed as leaving your car in a dangerous position as it can cause unnecessary obstruction of the road; therefore, you should avoid doing this where possible.
