I have been in uk for 8 yrs but didn't learn to drive until recent. I wanted to do automatic but my husband says no you should do manual driving it is better!! I tried some lesson with Mark and he told me I am very good at the driving I just need to fix some things for the test. I look forward very much to the rest of my lesson with mark.
I am a very nervous driver had one lesson with manjit made me feel at ease and she was very patient. I learnt more from one lesson with Manjit then with previous instructors.

Passed my test with Manjit last week, she was so patient with me and helped me feel comfortable on the road. I had bad experiences before with harsh instructors who made me feel so nervous - but and after lots of practice with Manjit I finally feel comfortable. Definitely recommend especially if you are a nervous driver.

I passed first time with Manjit!! I can't thank her enough for all the hard work and time she put in with me. I switched instructor last minute, with my test only weeks away and she made the time with me so that I would feel fully prepared for my test. She is so patient and kind and always encouraged me and made me feel confident when I was driving - would definitely recommend!!
Steven was a great instructor as he always planned my lessons before and he helped me by always recapping what happened previously to help me learn faster than I thought I could.

Of all the instructors I've had, Atif was the best. He was the most ethical, most patient and a very good teacher.
I was surprised just how easy it was to do maneuvers using his methods. He explained things very well and was always calm if I make a mistake. His car is easy to drive as well.
On top of all that Atif is a great peron in general. He didn't try to rinse me of lessons and never held me back from progressing through the curriculum. He was also too willing to move things around to help me prepare for my test including early morning and late evening lessons. I can't thank him enough.

When it came to learning to drive I am glad that I got to learn with Steven as he was super friendly, super punctual and always had amazing resources to help me pass on my first attempt.
Harry adapted the sessions to my needs and ensured that there was clarity if I was unsure, but also ensured the key subjects were covered. I would tend to reflect after our sessions and go back with copious notes and questions, which Harry always answered or more importantly got me to answer my own questions! As someone who is a detail person I also supplemented the practical sessions with reading and watching a lot of videos!
When I failed my part 3 we had further sessions and for me it was important that I wasn’t just ‘ticking the box’ and the role play sessions with Harry really helped my learning and ensured I was fully prepared. Harry also sat in a number of my lessons with pupils, which really helped my learning.
I would definitely recommend Harry to other potential instructors or those that are approaching standards check or CPD.
What has always been invaluable is the support from yourselves and the P3 workshop last year was a great help.

- Gives structured lessons to ensure you learn comprehensively but also is flexible to allow you to focus on aspects of driving that make you anxious/need practice on
- Calm and patient enough to make learning a comfortable experience but critical enough to identify important points to focus on
- Punctual! Starts and ends lessons on time.
- Knows how to teach to build confidence. I started without any confidence in driving but now look forward to the next time I can practice driving.
After having 2 bad experiences with others driving instructors , a calm and nice female driving instructors was all I needed. She is really patience and does not get angry if I am making a mistake like most driving instructors do. I am still doing lessons with her but what I love about her is that even though my test date is very soon and I still need learning , she always said that we can do it and she always tries to make me feel relaxed and confident. Thank you! I would recommend her to everyone!!

Always remember, the examiner is more concerned about your all-around observations on a manoeuvre than the manoeuvre itself. Of course, you need to finish in the correct position on the manoeuvre, but that part doesn’t have to be pretty and perfect. If you need to stop, move forwards and backwards a few times. This is not a problem, BUT make sure it’s safe! If you don’t know what is around you before you take a shunt/correction, you could hit an oncoming car or pedestrian in the real world, and that’s far worse than touching the kerb. If you are a complete beginner, lessons may start on quieter roads such as Tyne Crescent in the idyllic location of Brickhill, where left turns, clutch control and parallel parking can be perfected in the 20mph zones.
Once your confidence grows, the A428 on the edge of the town provides the perfect environment to practise smaller roundabouts, before moving onto trickier areas. When you are ready to join busier traffic, Kempston Road, running in between Bedford Hospital and the River Great Ouse, will allow you to spread your wings a little. To get you up to test standard, the A6 offers excellent opportunities to practise driving on a dual carriageway, tackle larger roundabouts and get used to the area leading up to Manton Lane.
