Useful Driving Test Tip For Towcester
If you stall on your test, try not to panic. You won't fail for stalling the car, but you may fail for how you deal or cope with the stall. For example, if you stall, panic and let the car roll back you will fail. If you stall, secure the car with footbrake or handbrake, restart and move away safely you will receive just a driving fault.

Our driving school in Towcester only uses fully qualified driving instructors who are all approved by driveJohnson's and dedicated to us. Our driving instructors are from the local area so they know the roads well, and they will show you the local test routes and difficult driving hotspots.
We won't waste your time sitting on the side of the road and not driving; as soon as you're ready and comfortable, we will have you out driving in one of our dual-controlled cars for your safety.

When you start driving lessons in Towcester with us, we will typically have you begin behind the back of Spoon School near Norton Crescent. The roads are slightly narrow but they are quiet, with a nice little loop which enables beginners to practice their clutch control and steering skills without having to face an actual junction. Once you're confident with that, we will have you driving along the Springfields and Highfields Road which lead to many left and right junctions.
After that, we will go into the town for a bit to practice some town driving before we decide which test centre you would like to take your driving test at. The two obvious choices are Milton Keynes and Northampton. Whichever test centre you choose, we have instructors who cover and know both areas. We have taught over 100 pupils (and counting) to pass first time with class!
